European Union Line 1 Train

For the whole month of September Line 1 of Santiago's metro system will feature a train with a new graphics.  The European Union Train (or "tren del la Union Europea") is joining in Chile's celebration of 200 years of independence.  The train, as seen in the photo below, is quite flashy as it rolls into the station, with it's all blue paint scheme.

The interior will highlight join projects between the EU and the Chilean government, and Chilean society.  This will include the significant contributions that the EU made to Chile after the devastating February 27th earthquake.
