Bamboobiz

February 16, 2010
Located in Santiago, Chile Bamboobiz is a great little company that showcases the talents of two female designers, their expertise with bamboo as a material, and their desire to incorporate it as a structural material.

Focused on promoting chilean bamboo as a viable design option, Bamboobiz is not just a ephemeral architecture and interior design business.  They are investing in educating and working with their community through courses and workshops, topics include "Integral Management of Chilean Bamboo".

Bamboobiz also offers outdoor dynamics and team building for companies.  Through the use of ephemeral architecture (bamboo structures can be as large as 15mts in height) skills needed to improve group dynamics - teamwork, communication, coexistence, leadership and motivation are further strengthened.

Their website BAMBOOBIZ is definitely worth a look.  Pictures of their team building retreats (these are especially fun to look at), courses and workshops, and designs are available.  Appropriately you enter the website by clicking on the bamboo!
