Ecobox

Submerged into a Nirre tree forest just minutes from the ski slopes of Chillian - the Ecobox is the ideal solution for low environmental impact lodging.  The design began with a typical shipping container.  These were then modified incorporating thermally insulated panels and thermo panel windows.

Conservation of the native vegetation was also part of the consideration while assembling the Ecobox, as well as the impact guests would have while lodging there.  One way they were able to accomplish this was by incorporating maze of elevated walkways.
